- Greeks love to drink – Whether it’s ouzo, tsipouro, wine, or coffee, drinking is a big part of social life. But it’s about enjoyment, not excess.
- Coffee is an all-day thing – Greeks love their freddo espresso and frappé. You’ll see people sipping coffee for hours at a café.
- Tipping isn’t mandatory, but appreciated – Leaving small change or rounding up the bill is common.
- Greek hospitality is real – Expect warm welcomes, extra food, and even locals inviting you to join their table.
